This is what will happen once we get your paperwork:
We will check to confirm availability
We will review and either approve or reject your application. If approved, we will sign it and return it to you (please provide a fax number for return)
You will be listed on our booking sheet and included on our website in the calendar of events.
You will receive an e-mail confirming your listing on our calendar of events on our web site.
A copy of the signed application and License to Use will then be returned to you for your files.
If you rent the Waterfront Theatre Black Box or Film House and need use of the projection/techinical booths or microphones you will need Technical Assistance. Pleasel contact one of our tech support folks to help you.

They charge $30 per hour for their service and they require payment on the date of your event. They can help you with your technical or lighting requirements and all your sound needs. Technical - Lighting - Sound issues need to be directed to the Technical Directors listed herewith. Please be sure you contract with the technical support professionals if you need help with those items. The Main Street Landing staff does not do technical work and should not be called if you are having technical problems. MSL should only be called if there is something relative to the building or your space that needs immediate attention - -plugged toilets, broken water line, etc.
Two weeks before your event, we need payment in full.
We do not accept credit cards.
To obtain the keys to get you into your space on the day of your event, you need to contact Joe Ryan, MSL’s Property/Construction Manager @ 802-864-7996 to set up an appointment. If your event is on the weekend, you need to get your keys on Friday from Joe. A $100 deposit check is required to get your keys and we will return your check to you when you return your keys to Joe Ryan the next working day after your event.

NO OPEN FLAME PERMITTED IN ANY OF MAIN STREET LANDING'S BUILDINGS
MAIN STREET LANDING DOES NOT RENT OUT OUR FACILITIES FOR WEDDINGS OR WEDDING RECEPTIONS.
NO TOXIC PAINTS, CLEANING SUPPLIES, ETC. ONLY GREEN SEAL CERTIFIED PRODUCTS CAN BE USED
IF YOU ARE PAYING THE NON-PROFIT RATE - MAIN STREET LANDING REQUIRES TO BE TREATED AS A SPONSOR OF YOUR EVENT. This is outlined in more detail in the application and requires your signature of agreement.
There is not a kitchen on site to cook or prepare food. There is no storage space. Please rent enough spaces in the building to support your event. Keys will be provided only for those spaces defined and approved in your application. When you pick up your keys, please be sure to bring a $100 deposit for the keys which will be returned to you when you return the keys to Main Street Landing and the property is returned to its original state.
PLEASE CONTACT THE HILTON Hotel across from the Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center if you wish to let the Hotel Visitors know about your event. Contact Lynn Berardinelli, Director of Sales at Lynn.Berardinelli@hilton.com and send her your PR on your EVENT...she will be sure to let her guests in the hotel know it is taking place right across the street, and help you to market your event/performance to eager visitors to our City. Send it to Main Street Landing too @ melinda@mainstreetlanding.com and we will be sure to get it out to our ''list''.

You can hire whomever you wish to to cater your event. But please advise them that they cannot cook on site and need to use warming trays.
The date(s) you are renting the space(s) is the date of your occupancy. You can only utilize the spaces on the day(s) agreed to in this document. If you need additional days for set up or tear down for your event, you need to indicate that on this application and pay for use of the space(s) on those days.

Payment required two-weeks in advance.
On the day before event or Friday if weekend event – contact Joe Ryan @ Main Street Landing 802-864-7996 to get your keys for all the doors related to your event. $100.00 deposit required which will be returned when you return the keys to Mr. Ryan @ Room 301 in Union Station, One Main Street, Burlington, Vermont. Access to the space and use of the space is ONLY permitted on the day(s) and time(s) Licensee has reserved the space as indicated herewith.
During the event if there is an emergency with the building contact our emergency beeper 657-9141 or contact Glen @ 802-316-6663 who will respond or contact on-site staff to assist. This is only for something to do with the facility – not your performance or presentation.
At this point you should be all set (Please fill out and have signed by Duly Authorized Agent the application & license to use below). Your signature indicates that you understand and accept all the explanations and details included herewith in their entirety.
After your event please bring back your keys and return the space to the condition you found it in, and your deposit will be returned to you in full.
You and Main Street Landing have the right to cancel this agreement at any time prior to your event. In the case Main Street Landing cancels, your deposit will be returned in full. Main Street Landing will not be held responsible for any losses to you should Main Street Landing cancel your event.

World class presentation/cinema hall with state of the art audio/visual equipment surround sound, Digital projection, 25-foot screen, podium, Box Office. The Film House has a screen, power point and dvd projector included in the space and the price.
If you rent the Film House and need use of the projection booth or microphones (over and above what you can produce from the podium) you will need Technical Assistance. Please contact one of these tech support folks to help you.

Other spaces (except Film House) will need the following rental of technical amenities if you are doing a presentation and you can rent them from Main Street Landing if you don't have your own equipment:

THE FILM HOUSE HAS IT'S OWN LARGE MOVIE SCREEN YOU DO NOT NEED TO RENT A SCREEN, Projector, or sound equipment.
Any damages as a direct result of your event, and/or the cost to replace any missing equipment is your responsibility and you will be required to reimburse MSL the costs to repair or replace damages or equipment. So, please be sure to take very care of all the equipment you rent, and be very careful to return the space as you found it prior to your event. Also, do everything possible not to damage the premises during your event as you will be expected to repair any damages at your cost if the damage is the direct result of your event.
YOU ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO REMOVE ALL YOUR RUBBISH AND DEBRIS FROM THE SPACE WHEN YOU LEAVE AND RETURN THE SPACE TO THE WAY IT WAS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.

The terms and conditions of this agreement are as follows: Said real property is being licensed ''as is'', and renovations to the property must be approved in writing by the ''licenser''. Main Street Landing does not permit anything to be hung on their walls or suspended from their ceilings.
This License does not permit the Licensee to make any changes, additions, or deletions to the property without the written approval of Licenser.
Licensee is responsible for the collection and removal of all trash, garbage, debris resulting from the use of the property and the return of the property to the ''as is'' condition prior to taking possession of said property.
Licensee shall and will indemnify and save harmless the Licenser from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, and damage, incurred during and arising from the Licensee's use of the property described herein.
This License allows the user to only use the space agreed upon in this document on the date(s) and time(s) specified herein, and Licenser's obligation is limited to providing space only.
Any equipment or substances that may be considered dangerous or hazardous will not be permitted in the space.

Licenser shall not be held responsible for any damage thereto, theft or any other misuse of property placed in said property, and Licenser shall not be held responsible for injury to any occupant who enters Main Street Landing's property as a result of the event of Licensee.
This License shall terminate on the date and time provided herein at which time Licensee is required to have vacated the premises, unless such termination is exercised at any time by either the Licenser or Licensee.
This License may be executed in one or more duplicate copies, and each copy so executed shall be treated for all intents as an original document.
At all times, this License may be revoked by the Licenser without reason, and all (if any) deposit monies will be returned to Licensee should Licenser terminate this agreement.
Licensee is required to hire an MSL Technician (listed above) for assistance when renting the Film House or the Waterfront Theatre Black Box and accessing the projector or control room.
