main_index.jpgMelinda Moulton (l) and Lisa Steele (r) are Sustainable Redevelopers of the Main Street Landing property on the Burlington Waterfront in northern Vermont along the shores of Lake Champlain. They have been involved in environmental and socially conscious redevelopment since the early 1980's. Together they created the innovative "team approach to design, development, permitting, and construction" philosophy, and produced in concept a 25-year incremental redevelopment project for the Burlington Waterfront.

Main Street Landing is predicated to creating beautiful buildings that are healthy, safe, and comfortable. Their projects include commercial, residential, and cultural uses in a humanly accommodating way. They have completed over 250,000 square feet of new and rennovated space, which includes the Union Station, CornerStone, Wing, and Lake & College Buildings.

The Main Street Landing Company endeavors to support the visual and performing arts, to provide incubator space for start-up local businesses, to nurture social responsibility, and to make decisions based on ecological integrity, economic security, individual empowerment, and social well being.
